Sheila Craig

This is a picture of me in Gran Canaria where we went on holiday - March 2001.

Notice that I am still a bit overweight. Since then I have lost quite a bit more weight. If you want to find out more about how I did this look at the Slimming World web site.

My name is Sheila Craig. I am 51 years old and live with my husband Peter in Monkseaton, Tyne & Wear.

My two children Andrew and Suzanne are 23 & 25  years old and now live in London.

I went to London at the end of April to see them and had a great time. I visited Earl's Court for an Embroidery Exhibition and met up with lots of my stitching friends.

Look at my needlework page for more information.

I retired as a Primary School teacher in 2000 and am now taking on a different career as a part -time tutor and am an active member of APTT an organisation to support part time tutors.

I am a voluntary tutor in Basic Skills IT for Age Resource North East. We give free IT training to the over 50's using 'Computer's Don't Bite' and 'Webwise'.

I also do voluntary teaching for the Northumberland Wild Life Trust at their headquarters in Gosforth as well as being a 'Watch' leader.
