This is the design I made for a Hardanger project. Several of my friends will be creating a chart of the same size. Each chart will then be put together and made into a large Bellpull chart. We will all then be able to make the bellpull using our own choice of threads.

This is the test piece from the chart above.
I had to adapt the chart because There was not enough room for the corner design. I might go back and try the design again using finer threads.
I stitched the piece on 18 count evenweave and used variagated rayon ribbon to stitch it..

When Whitley Bay branch of the Embroiderer's Guild had their Summer Exhibition I took this photograph of some beautiful Hardanger work. There are some very talented ladies in Whitley Bay!
